Andrés González and Jocelyn González

About

Andrés González is the President of Yielded Evangelical Servants (YES) and a full-time missionary devoted to advancing the Gospel and strengthening unity within the global Church. With more than 17 years of ministry experience, Andrés carries a calling that blends leadership, discipleship, and compassion for communities in need around the world.

His journey in missions began in 2014 during a life-changing trip to Honduras, where he helped build a small church in a struggling neighborhood called Mata Hambre. That experience ignited a passion that has taken him across Central and South America, serving in construction projects, leadership training, evangelism, and humanitarian relief.

Before serving full time in missions, Andrés spent over a decade as the Spanish Ministry Director at Greeneway Church in Orlando, Florida, where he helped plant and grow a vibrant Hispanic congregation. In 2021, he became the President of YES, a nonprofit missionary organization founded in 1990 to equip, support, and walk alongside missionaries worldwide.

Under his leadership, YES continues to empower those called to the field, helping missionaries fulfill their God-given purpose with integrity, accountability, and spiritual strength. Andrés’ heart beats for one central message: that the world would know Christ through the love and unity of His people (John 13:34–35; John 17:20–21).

Today, Andrés serves as both a spiritual leader and a bridge builder, connecting missionaries, churches, and donors to make the Great Commission a shared mission. Whether training leaders, building churches, or serving in remote communities, his approach remains rooted in humility, authenticity, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Andrés serves alongside his wife Jocelyn, whose faith and partnership are integral to the ministry. Together with their two sons Ian and Mathias, the González family lives out their calling as a team, sharing hope, unity, and the love of Christ wherever God opens the door.
