Serve under the direction of field workers who know the community. We don't go and do our own thing. We go and strengthen theirs.
Complete meaningful, purposeful work, construction, medical care, teaching, training, that the long-term worker has identified as a priority. And every project carries an evangelistic heart: as the team serves, they build relationships with the children and families of the community, and when the work is finished, that community is invited into the local church's service. The roof gets fixed. The connection to the church is what stays.
